Locked my keys in my car next door luckily I was able to get assistance from DeVante. He was able to help unlock my door and get me a new key fob battery for my keys. This place has amazing customer service and I highly recommend it.
ORIGINAL REVIEW IN PHOTOS!!!! WOULD NOT FIT HERE I’m not writing this for AAMCO Transmissions because that is just a name on a building. This review is for a particular store manager and his crew. DeVante Cartwright and his crew at the 31st & Wall Ave location in Ogden, UT—because this shop is built on something far greater than just a name. At 63 years young, with 45+ years of experience in Emergency Roadside Rescue and mobile auto, truck, RV, marine and heavy equipment repair, on the road and in the field. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the outright dishonest in this industry. I don’t impress easily, but DeVante and his team are different. I brought in a 1998 Ford Windstar with only 58k miles, experiencing intermittent shifting issues. DeVante didn’t try to sell me an unnecessary transmission rebuild. Instead, he and his team took the time to listen, troubleshoot, and help me find the real issue—even knowing I’d do the work myself. What stood out to me the most (while watching through the glass in the lobby): A shop and lobby that were clean, organized, and well-maintained A team that worked together with professionalism and respect A manager who truly cares—not just about cars, but about people A level of honesty and integrity that is rare in this industry Even after our conversations about the van, DeVante called to check on me after my gallbladder surgery. That alone speaks volumes about his character. This isn’t just about car repairs—it’s about trust. If you need transmission work done, this shop sets the standard for honor and integrity.
